Named Capsicum Records (named for some of the hottest peppers),
initially the label will feature what it calls Reggae In-Fusion, meaning
reggae in fusion with our eclectic influences, our own creativity, and
our artists take us -- and infusing those genres with the infectious
rhythms and grooves of reggae,” Sal explains.
 
”The majority of the people in the world who love music like
more than one genre -- no matter what their favorites.

In reuniting with his songwriting partner from the Misery Loves
Company and Unseen Hand albums, former Philadelphia
International/Sound of Philadelphia writer-producer Roger
Meltzer, and in working with some of the best known reggae
musicians and record producers ever to come out of the
Caribbean, look for some amazing collaborations that are
sure to make the legions of Sal’s loyal fans move and sing
along with him like never before.

Those who want an early taste of Ras Sal’s newest songs and
to hear their old favorites, too, can catch his shows all summer
long over the greater South Jersey shore area by Memorial
Day.
